High School Travel Pre-Season Drop In
Staying on the ice throughout the off season is essential to making sure you show up to tryouts in the best possible shape. But with vacations, jobs, family commitments and other summer sports, it's often hard to allocate the time and money to attend dedicated summer hockey camps.
The Jr. Lancer program along with the Moylan Tranquility IcePlex has organized some time for high school travel players to participate in weekly structured and monitored drop in skates. Ice times will vary from week to week so please refer to the calendar below. When you arrive at the rink, locate the High School Travel Drop In sign in sheet at the concession stand. Only the first 30 players will be allowed to take the ice.
The one-hour skates will cost $7.50 per player (per skate). Please bring a dark and a light jersey. There will be at least one coach at every skate to ensure teams are even, players are taking reasonable length shifts, and that everything stays clean.

Did You Know?
That in the last 5 year more than 50 players who have competed in the Midwest High School Hockey League have gone on to play college hockey.

Omaha Hockey Club Members,
Please join us on Monday, August 30th, at the Hampton Inn (12331 Southport Parkway, La Vista, across Giles from Cabela’s) from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm for an informational meeting with Les Teplicky (President, Mid-West Amateur Hockey Affiliate) concerning the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM). Mr. Teplicky will have information regarding ADM as well as a question and answer period.
Changes are coming to our IP and Mite programs and here is your opportunity to hear about the importance of this program to USA Hockey and how our Affiliate (our governing body) is helping the programs in our area introduce the ADM. We encourage all IP and Mite parents to attend this informational meeting though anyone is welcome to attend.
