Omaha Hockey Club

Ice time – IP, Mite, and Squirt-Bantam house leagues:

• The hockey season will start the first weekend in October and will run through the end of February for IP players and will run through the middle of March for Mite, Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam players.
• IP players will generally have two 45 minute sessions per week
• Mite players will generally have two 1 hour sessions per week, with at least 40 total sessions.
• Squirt through Bantam players will generally have two 1 hour sessions per week, with at least 40 total sessions (approximately 20 games and 20 practices).
• Please keep in mind that the number of sessions will fluctuate in certain weeks because of holidays, tournaments, figure skating events, etc.
• At the Mite through Bantam divisions, we are only planning to have 11-12 players per team.  These are much smaller teams than some members are used to and will result in more ice time in games and more active drill time in practices for each player and a lower player to coach ratio.

Jersey and Socks:

• All players will receive a new jersey and a new pair of socks.  Players will have their names put on their jerseys at no additional cost. 

Other items included in the fee:

• All players will receive a free Memory Mate photograph, which includes the player’s picture along with their team picture as well as a free photo button.   Additional photos may be purchased, but the Memory Mate is included in the registration fee.
• Trophy costs are also included in the fees, so you won’t be asked to pay out of pocket for the end of year trophies.
• At the Mite level, the organization will supply goalie equipment for each team so players have the opportunity to play goal without parents having to invest in goalie equipment.At the Squirt through Bantam levels, the registration fee also covers the cost of officials for all games.

The Board of the Omaha Hockey Club has worked to set fees that are competitive in comparison to previous years, offer excellent value, and will help build a strong financial foundation for the organization.
