Please be informed that players coming to the Qwest this Friday are to wear wind pants or sweat pants, not breezers and socks. This should make things easier as all they need to bring now are gloves, skates and a helmet.

Calling all Omaha Hockey Club Players

The University of Nebraska-Omaha hockey program has asked if the Omaha Hockey Club could provide 100-200 hockey players for the first ever WCHA home league game on Friday, November 5th at 7:05 PM. They have asked that every the IP, Mite, Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam age groups be represented. There will also be one team from High School (there are NCAA regulations on the number of HS players allowed on the ice).

The skaters will need their breezers, socks, helmet, and ice skates. They will receive a free long sleeve WCHA t-shirt to wear and four tickets for Friday's game.

The High School aged skaters will assist in helping usher the smaller/younger skaters on the ice. The entire ice rink will be lined with skaters prior to the game, and the skaters will remain on the ice during the National Anthem.

Skaters are to meet at 6:00 PM in the lobby of the Qwest Center. There is no need to do any prior check in or sign up.
