The Omaha Jr. Lancers are happy to announce that they have selected John Thomas to be the Program Director and Head Coach. We are also excited to announce that Andy Blaszak will be the Associate Head Coach.

Who's Invited
Any player who will be enrolled in High School for the 2012-2013 school year is eligible to tryout. Please do not register for this tryout unless you meet that requirement...you will not be allowed on the ice.
Parent Meeting
Following the final ice time on June 3rd, there will be a short :30 minute parent meeting in the lobby of the Ice Arena. The purpose of the meeting is to set expectations for the 2012-2013 season as well as answer any questions you may have.
Rink Tour (tentative)
The Jr. Lancers are working on hosting a tour of the Ralston Sports and Event Center...the new home of OJL HS Hockey. This tour will be optional and is open for players and parents. Our hope is to have the tour follow the parent meeting on June 3rd.
Tryout Registration & Fees
There is a $25 tryout registration fee. Players can be registered online via the below link ~ or ~ at the Motto McLean ice arena on the day of the tryout. HOWEVER, the $25 tryout registration fee will be waived for any player who is registered online via the below link before May 28th.
* Registering 5 days in advance helps the coaching staff break the players into competitive groups, organize jerseys and overall plan.
* Registration closes at 11:59 PM on May 28th.
You will recieve an email by May 31st with information on which group / ice times you will be skating in.
That in the last 5 year more than 50 players who have competed in the Midwest High School Hockey League have gone on to play college hockey.
